Certification
There are seven levels of certification students must achieve to become a neuromuscular horse dentist. In addition to theoretical and practical on-site instruction appropriate for each level, students are also expected to complete a minimum number of solo neuromuscular dental balances on off-site horses to qualify for each level of certification.
Dental Summit-Certified Practitioners
Due to the ever-changing advancements in the practice of this form of horse dentistry, attending a Dental Summit for continuing education is required every two years to keep our certified practitioners updated on current and emerging data, research findings, and continuing curriculum development.
