All classes are held at
Southern Cross Guest Ranch in Madison, GA
Open classes (brackets 1/2, 3/4, 5/6)
take place in two-week increments broken into two 5 day class periods
Monday-Friday.
These are held the last 2 weeks of February and August
and will include class, Lab and barn time.
STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND BOTH WEEKS.
The Dental Summit & Certification
for certified practitioner to fulfill the required bi-annual
continuing education as well as
students that have completed Bracket 5/6 and are ready to certify.
This intensive 3 day dental summit
will be held Tuesday - Thursday each Fall, and includes
whole horse body evaluations, practical work & Round table discussions.

February 16-20, 2026 February 23-27, 2026 Week 1 February 16-20 Check in Sunday February 15 Check out Friday February 20 If you would like to leave the ranch for the weekend, to go explore, and stay off site, that is totally fine. Be sure to return and be ready for class Monday morning. Please check the ranch availability first to make sure you reserve your room for the days you are interested in. They can book up quickly . Week 2 class February 23-27 Check in Sunday February 22 Check out Friday February 27 Keep in mind, we may have horses on both Fridays after checkout to work with. This is for certified practitioners returning for continuing education, and for students who have completed their 5/6 bracket and have sent in their intent to certify.
Day 1 will include a round table discussion to talk about new understandings in
Neuromuscular Horse Dentistry as well as practical whole horse body evaluations.
Day 2 will be at the barn doing practical work with followup evaluations from instructors.
Day 3: Morning Round table discussions to discuss and ask questions about any aspects of NBD.
ID cards (2-year expiration date) will be updated for those that are still maintaining the NBD standard of perfection in balancing the horse's mouth.
